Cabarrus College offers the ASSET and institutional ACT for prospective students needing standardized test
scores to satisfy admissions requirements.
The ASSET can be used for admission to the medical assistant, occupational therapy assistant, surgical
technology and associate in science programs. Specific score requirements can be found on each programs
web page, brochure or in the catalog.
The cost to take the ASSET is $25. It is offered from 2:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. on the
following dates during the 2009-2010 academic year:
- October 15, 2009
- December 2, 2009
- January 14, 2010
- March 18, 2010
- May 5, 2010
- June 1, 2010
- August 12, 2010
The Institutional ACT can be used for admission to any program offered by Cabarrus College, including the
associate degree in nursing. The score results are only valid at Cabarrus College and can not be used for
admission to another institution.
The cost to take the Institutional ACT is $40. The fee is non-refundable. It is offered from
1 :00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m. on the following dates during the 2009-10 academic year:

- October 7, 2009
- December 9, 2009
- January 21, 2010
- February 10, 2010
- February 23, 2010
- March 16, 2010
- April 14, 2010
- May 25, 2010
- July 8, 2010
- August 3, 2010
