his program is offered to exceptional high school students who have completed at least their junior year of high school. Students may begin their college education as non-degree students as early as the summer session between their junior and senior years in high school. Eligibility for enrollment requires that the student must submit a completed application for admission, non-refundable application fee and meet the following admission requirements:

...must present evidence of US Citizenship, a current Permanent Resident Card or a current I-551 Card from the Department of Immigration and Naturalization Services;

...must submit evidence of all immunizations and/or health information required by the College;

...completion of the junior year of high school prior to the semester in which the student desires enrollment;

...a preferred minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 in high school;

...a minimum ACT composite score of 19 OR a minimum SAT score of 480-verbal and 440-math OR ASSET scores of 39-writing, 39-reading and 36-numerical;

...completion of, with a minimum grade of "C", the following high school courses:

English I, II, III
Algebra I and either Algebra II or Geometry
Biology
Chemistry

...recommendation for enrollment by the high school principal or counselor.

Upon admission, the student may enroll for a maximum of four credit hours each semester on a space available basis. Students may choose to enroll in any general education course.

To continue enrollment, students must attain a minimum grade of "C" in each course and must be re-approved by the high school and college each semester. The student may apply for admission to any of the College's degree, diploma, or certificate programs; however, enrollment in the Concurrent Enrollment Program does not guarantee acceptance to these programs.

Students are advised regarding the applicability of courses for degree credit and the transferability of courses to other colleges or universities. Students accepted to the Concurrent Enrollment Program pay tuition and fees according to the College's current tuition and fee schedule.
