VA Benefits
Cabarrus College is approved for VA benefits through the NC State Approving Agency.

Federal Tax Credits
Students who attend college may be eligible for the American Opportunity Credit and/or the Lifetime Learning Credit. Additional information is available at www.irs.gov.


North Carolina Forgivable Education Loan for Service
This loan was established by the North Carolina General Assembly in 2011, with the first loans available for the 2012-13 academic year.

The loan provides financial assistance to qualified students who are committed to working in North Carolina in fields designated as critical employment shortage areas. Additional information is available at www.cfnc.org.
