Requirements

Prior to selecting general education courses, you should review the requirements for your major to determine required courses.

Prior to graduation, baccalaureate and associate degree graduates must have evidence of successful completion (either at Cabarrus College or via transfer credit) of at least one course in each of the following three areas:
Baccalaureate level students complete 30 semester credit hours in general education for graduation, associate degree students complete 15 semester credit hours in general education, and diploma students complete six semester credit hours in general education. General education course work is optional in certificate programs.
