The following are the most frequently asked questions about the Health Services Leadership and Management Program.

How long does it take to complete this degree?
Students enrolled in the program full time (four courses each semester and two summer courses) will complete this program in two years. Students enrolled part time (two or three courses each semester) will complete the program in three to four years.

When are classes held?
Classes are held on Tuesday evenings and online.

Do most of the students enroll in the program full-time and maintain a full-time job?
Most of the students in this program who work full-time, enroll in the program as part-time students. The program's flexibility allows them to change the number of enrolled courses depending upon their schedule.

Does the program offer any online/hybrid courses?
Yes, most of the courses in the major are offered in a hybrid format with up to 73% of each class being online.

What type of career can I expect upon completion of the program?
Most graduates with this degree are able to advance in their specific discipline. For example, medical assistants can become office managers; billing specialists can become supervisors; and respiratory therapists can become department managers. Some disciplines use the degree as an academic stepping stone into their graduate programs.
