Program Requirements

The HSLM program is designed for professionals with an associate degree in a health or healthcare-related field such as nursing, radiology technology, occupational therapy assistant, medical assistant, emergency medical technology, or surgical technology. You may also qualify if you have a non-health-related associate degree, but have work experience in the healthcare industry.

If you are a student who has earned a professional allied health diploma, you may also receive credit towards your degree. Cabarrus College offers diploma graduates a transitional track of general education courses that help you work towards acceptance into the HSLM program.
