Curriculum Plan
Completion Programs The Bachelor of Science in Medical Imaging degree will be awarded to students who have successfully completed 120 hours of course work with a "C" or better. In this baccalaureate completion program, 60 credit hours are awarded for successful completion of an associate degree in any of four primary categories in Medical Imaging which includes courses in the major and general education. The completion program requires an additional 15 credit hours in general education and 45 credit hours in upper level courses for a total of 120 credit hours. The Medical Imaging program offers four Bachelor Degree completion program options: Certificate Programs The certificate program consists of 16 hours of academic credit taught in four courses over a single semester timeframe. A certificate of completion will be given to those students who successfully complete all four courses in either specialty. An American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) verification sheet will be used to show that clinical objectives are met per ARRT criteria. |
