The program features small class sizes, individual academic advising, and clinical experiences. The major clinical facility is CMC-NorthEast with sites also available in Salisbury, Stanly, Charlotte, Gaston, and Lake Norman. Many career opportunities are available you after you earn an ADN including working in hospitals, out-patient clinics, and physician offices. You will also be qualified for jobs in the growing field of elder care through positions in nursing homes or long-term care facilities. As a graduates of the ADN program, you are eligible to take the National Council Licensure Examination-Registered Nurse (NCLEX-RN). Over the past three years, Cabarrus College's personalized, hands-on approach to nursing has enabled students to achieve a 93% first-time pass rate on this exam. An ADN also gives you a solid foundation to continue your education through our online Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN-BSN) Completion Program.
