The Bachelor of Science in Nursing (RN-BSN) degree is an online completion program designed for registered
nurses (RNs) who have graduated from either an associate degree or diploma program and who desire to
expand their knowledge in the nursing profession.
All coursework for the program is offered online with the exception of Nursing 301 which requires three on campus meetings.

In a rapidly changing healthcare environment, the RN-BSN degree enables the practicing registered nurse
a greater opportunity for employment, increased responsibility, and career progression.
Earning your RN-BSN opens the door for professional certification in a nursing specialty such as nurse practitioner,
nurse educator, nurse anesthetist, clinical nurse specialist, or administration. An RN-BSN degree also provides
a foundation for graduate level education and the future pursuit of doctorate level education.
Faculty work closely with students in courses focusing on holistic nursing, community health, health policy,
informatics, leadership, and administration providing the knowledge to remain successful healthcare providers
and leaders in today's healthcare workplace.
All classes are offered online with the exception of NUR 301 which requires three on campus meetings, allowing you
to earn your degree at your convenience and without having to sacrifice your present job or income.

RN-BSN students may earn a minor in Health Services Management and Leadership (HSLM) by completing 12 semester
hours of health services major courses on campus. HSL 300, HSL 320, HSL 330, and HSL 400 are the preferred courses
to earn an HSLM minor.
