Whether studying, researching, or simply looking for a quiet place to read, the library at Cabarrus College provides an excellent atmosphere to support your academic experience.

The library is located on the lower level of the main campus building of Carolinas Medical Center - NorthEast.

Library Staff
When you enter the building through the employee entrance under the blue awning, you will find a stairwell to the right of the main hallway. Take the stairs to the lower level. Go behind the stairs and to the right down the hallway and past the courtyard windows to the entrance to the library. There is directional signage along the lower corridor indicating the way to the library.

If entering the Marian Cannon Hayes Center, take the elevator to the basement level and follow the signage.

The librarian suggests the following links to help you with your academic and clinical research.
- AHEC Digital Library: This is a full-featured portal for North Carolina healthcare professionals. With it, you can find journals and textbooks, or access many other electronic resources. (Access to this site requires a password. To get one, contact the library at 704.403.1726.)
- CollegeSource: This virtual library represents more than 50,000 college catalogs, but is only available from computers on the Cabarrus College campus.
- Cabarrus County Library: The local library is another resource for electronic articles, journals, magazines, and books.
- MedicineNet: MedicineNet includes a network of U.S. board certified physicians and allied health professionals and is also a substantial resource for health and medical news.
- NC LIVE: NC LIVE is North Carolina's statewide online library. This is a good source of information for healthcare and academic information, with thousands of full-text journals. (AHEC Digital Library is the best first source of health sciences information.)

The library is equipped with computers and copiers that are available for patron use.
